Homesick. There’s no place like home. Home is where the heart is. Welcome home. All these familiar phrases speak to the strength that many of us draw from the place we call home. My name is Diane Seymour, and I’m writing Home Beckons to celebrate the family, friends, farms, and forests that always call me home no matter where I go or how long I’m gone.
My background? I’m a farmer’s daughter, married for forty years to the same good man, mother of three fine sons, and 32-year veteran of the work world in finance and marketing. I hope to offer positive, inspiring stories to lighten your days and at times to make you think.
