Homesick. There’s no place like home. Home is where the heart is. Welcome home. All these familiar phrases speak to the strength that many of us draw from the place we call home. My name is DeeCee Seymour and I’m writing Home Beckons to celebrate the family, friends, farms, and forests that always call me home no matter where I go or how long I’m gone.
My background? I’m a farmer’s daughter, wife of one, mother of three, and 30-year veteran of the work world in finance and marketing.
